Considered as the first floating offshore wind farm of continental Europe, the WindFloat Atlantic project is located off the coast of Viana do Castelo in Portugal.
🔎 20km of electric cable have been installed to connect the coast to the three turbines, which has a total capacity of 25MW. That’s equivalent to the energy consumed by 60,000 homes in one year! Each turbine is 30 metres high. What a major project!
