Jubilee is located 60 kilometres offshore of Ghana. Discovered in 2007, First Oil production came on-stream in December 2010.
Jubilee can produce about 100,000 barrels of oil per day, as well as the majority of Ghana’s gas for power generation.
In October 2017, the Ghanaian Government approved the Greater Jubilee Full Field Development Plan, allowing Tullow Oil and their Joint Venture Partners to prepare for future drilling programs to maximise and sustain production.
Tullow expects to continue to use the Maersk Venturer rig across both the TEN and Jubilee fields in 2020. The well programme is being developed with the Joint Venture Partners and will be finalised by the end of the year.
Operated by Tullow Oil, with partners Kosmos, Anadarko, GNPC and PetroSA.
